Eyes Above The Coast
In a change from "eyes along the coast" some of our members took to the water, courtesy of "Pride of Exmouth", and raised their eyes above the coast on a day out at the Torbay Air Show. With the best seats in the house in the centre of the display they were able to enjoy, amongst other aircraft, a Spitfire, Lancaster and Dakota, as well as the Red Arrows who never fail to impress.
Incident - Grounded Inflatable
Congratulations to Keith Cornish on the award of his 5 year badge and to Graham Green who received his Certificate of Achievement and epaulettes as our newest watchkeeper. The Station Manager also announced the appointment of Ivor Jones and Hugh De Souza as Deputy Station Managers.
Incident - Engine Failure
Our colleagues from the RNLI lifeguards will be on watch on the beach 1000-1800 from 26 May until 2 September. Remember, always read and obey the safety signs, swim in the designated areas, never swim alone and, if you get into trouble, stick your hand in the air and shout for help. The RNLI lifeguards and Exmouth Coastwatch are keeping an eye out for you.
